Immediate vs Delayed Feedback

Coming Soon: A free webinar from the Ecolint Institute, presented by Nihad Ćehić, CEO and Co-Founder of Vibbl.

Which is the best approach for giving feedback that moves learning forward? For many years, immediate feedback has been seen as being most beneficial for student learning. More recent research seems to show the opposite. So, which is it?

This session will explore an overview of the current research into immediate and delayed feedback to explain the confusion around claims made regarding the impact of feedback and prospective use cases for using immediate or delayed feedback in a school setting.

Nihad Ćehić, CEO and Co-Founder of Vibbl

In 2019, Nihad and his wife Sarah founded Vibbl to reduce teacher workload by enabling better, faster and more collaborative feedback. As a part of this process, Nihad spent 3 years reading educational research on feedback and speaking directly to school leaders around the world to understand what meaningful feedback looks like in their context. In his search for 'The Feedback Formula', he found that there sadly isn't one! However, he did find some core principles that increase the likelihood of your feedback being meaningful and ultimately, a key component that drives learning forward.
